We charge $10 per domain name per year. Often times multiple domain names are beneficial in getting more hits to your site. Registering your web site with the search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc.) is included with all websites we design. It is the first step in creating a visible online identity. Spurfire has the experience necessary to ‘optimize’ your web site in a manner that can help your site’s ranking in the search engines and bring you more traffic. Web site files reside on special computers (known as ‘servers’) that are hooked into the internet 24 hours a day. Website hosting starts at $50 per year for hosting for basic sites and for the more complicated websites (ie. Online Stores) hosting is negotiable. We strongly suggest avoiding the ‘free’ or reduced fee services, since these are often unreliable and may include irritating pop-up ads that distract the user from your own web site.
Confused about how to set up and retrieve your e-mail? Need more than one e-mail address for your company? I can arrange this important service for you, as well as teach you how to access and reply to your e-mails from the office or while on the road… and it’s all included with your website!
It’s possible that you or your staff may have the capabilities to make updates to your web site after it’s finished. If so, We are happy to show you how to do this. If you prefer that we make updates to your site, there is a variety of options:
- For very simple changes, such as modifying a few lines of text, there is usually no charge.
- For more involved changes to your site, such as adding new pages, complete revisions of pages, graphics work, etc., the fee is $60 per hour. Depending on the amount of work involved, we can arrange billing on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- If you think that your web site will need updates on a frequent basis, you may opt to enter into a quarterly maintenance contract.
